Soundtrack: Machafouhach - Mouh Milano
I entered one of those trains which had cabins sans seats. Remember those designed tight economy seats for planes? What about NO seats? Hmm?
Well, it is a 40-minute journey, split 20-20 between two different lines so I guess it's not a big deal. Besides, I start work at 0930, which allows me to escape the morning rush hour crowd at 0800, squeezing in with other commuters. None of that sardine-in-a-can situation.
At least, I get to breathe.
I bought a cheap pair of JBL headphones (in PINK!) with a microphone attached to it. A bigger version of the standard earpiece you get with older models of phones. The purpose of the headphones was to improve the experience of receiving a video call from my partner because Airpods suck. Have the JBL headphones improved the calls? Yes. Unfortunately, I do not have a 3.5mm port on my iPhone, which is quite a sore spot but no biggie. I'll just buy a lightning-to-3.5mm extension.

It's so frustrating, sometimes. We live in a world where we solve our problems with money. We need something? We buy it. We need other things with the first thing we buy? We buy them too! Things never come complete - you are constantly buying accessories along with the thing. We can buy anything, literally anything. When will this consumerist hellscape END? When will we learn that this is unsustainable?
Everyone is on their phones, so no one's paying attention to me aggressively lip-synching to Mouh Milano's Machafouhach. I do not know what it means. The song is banging, though.
We look for so much content and attention online, constantly pushing the threshold of what is acceptable and being so numbed by content, that we barely take time to experience the realities of life in front of us, as they are. And when we do pay attention, it is in hopes that we get the first scoop to share with people -online.
I say all this as I'm yapping away on my bullet journal. Speaking of which, the grid is far superior to dots and I wished I hadn't bought 3 packets of dotted paper from Muji for my bullet journal. It's fine, I'll just buy more grid paper.
